From My Kitchen

This sauce has become one of the hardest-working recipes in my kitchen. While it starts as a simple red sauce, it quickly becomes the base for spaghetti, lasagna, soups, casseroles, pizza, and countless other family meals throughout the month.

Whenever I make it, I usually prepare a large batch because I know it won’t go to waste. Having homemade sauce already prepared makes weeknight cooking so much easier. It’s one of those small bits of planning that saves time later while giving every meal that slow-cooked, homemade flavor.
